The NFL Game Test Tester (or the NFL Game Finder) is a tool that uses GPS and satellite imagery to help NFL teams find players in the league.
The NFL is using this to track down players for free agency and draft, but some teams may have difficulty getting players to agree to play, according to ESPN’s Mike Sando.
But Sando says it’s a great tool for tracking down players who have shown promise.
“This is a great, very effective way to track the players you want to bring in to the NFL,” Sando said.
“You can really go into a player’s life and tell them that this is what they need to do to be successful in the NFL.
You can tell them they’re an athlete, they’re a competitor, and they have a great passion for the game.”
Sando also noted that the NFL may have some difficulty finding the right players for the new free agency rules that take effect in 2018, as some teams won’t be able to sign players in free agency.
“They have a lot of guys who are in the draft who they don’t want to get,” Sandos said.
“If you’re a good draft pick, you’re in the mix to make the team and then you’re the guy who’s gone to a team who you really like, you’ve been to the Pro Bowl, you have a long career, you can make a big impact on a team.
It’s a tough sell.”
And if you’re not a good player, then you don’t have a place on your team, so the teams may be reluctant to offer you a contract.
